Pablo Neruda´s profound texts and poems have always inspired Eva Moosbrugger’s imagination. Now and then she enjoys picturing to herself scenes from his texts. Some she translates into her own language and expresses them in her own threedimensional vocabulary – tributes to the revered author.
Material and technique: Antique glass and Murano glass, free blown. Partly sculpted. Sculpture of 17 pieces.

On a green patch of grass, a snake rises threateningly above a wind-up mouse which is paralyzed by fear.
For self-protection considerations, all this is done under a glass hood.

Allegory, consisting of a marble base with a glass pedestal upon which a red Easter Bunny made of raspberry-flavored sugar triumphes, holding a basket in which it presents a prophecy from a Chinese fortune cookie. The fortune promises the viewer a happy and content life.
This all is protected by a glass dome.
